Go west for a while. Oooor, maybe your map just is broken. I've had them break on earlier versions. It is "glitched" in that spot. A dot means you are off the map on that side. Walk to the west and you'll eventually come back onto the map. You don't need to delete that map, it's still useful. My Minecraft map won't show up when I open up the game. I had this same problem happen to me when i was trying to play on a MEGA CUBE survival map i downloaded. My problem was when I tried to rename the file to "world 1" it ended up just creating another file in-between the saves - MEGA CUBE folders, called "world 1." Why can't I open.
